TIMOTHY E. KELLY

Tim Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked with Standard Mortgage since 1993. He began his accounting career in New York City with Main Lafrentz & Co. (this firm later merged into KPMG, LLP) as an intern and rejoined the firm in 1977. He joined the New Orleans office of Touche Ross & Co. (this firm later merged, becoming Deloitte & Touche, LLP) in 1981 advancing to the position of senior manager. He then joined Coopers & Lybrand (now known as Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP) in 1986 and became a partner in 1989.

Tim received his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from New York University in 1976 and his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from New York University in 1977. He has served in various officer capacities with the New Orleans Chapter of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants as well as on the Financial Institutions Committee at the Louisiana state level. Tim currently serves as Treasurer on the board of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, has served on their finance committee since 1992, and previously served as their treasurer in 1996. Since 2012, he has been a member of L.P.O’s Board of Trustees. Tim has also served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra from 2006 through 2013 and was an accounting advisor to GNOYO since 1994 during its formation and application to the Internal Revenue Service for tax exempt recognition.

Tim and his wife, Virginia, live in Slidell and have four children and one grandchild.
